During the donation process, donors are given the option to receive updates from the charity. The Excel file available for download in the charity area contains information about donors and their donations.
Look for the 'Donor Share Info' column in the Excel table. If it shows 'Yes,' the donor has agreed to transfer their personal information for marketing purposes, and you can send them emails. If it shows 'No,' you are not permitted to send emails. However, it's important to note that thank-you emails, expressing gratitude for their donation, are not considered marketing emails and can be sent to all donors
