Can the email addresses of donors in charity account reports be used?

When a donor contributes, they are asked if they want to receive updates from the charity.

This information is available in the data report, which can be downloaded by clicking the 'Download' button on the 'Donations' or 'Analytics' pages. For more details, click here.

In the Excel table of the data report, there is a column labeled 'Receive Updates.' This column will display the word "Yes" if the donor has agreed to share their personal information with the organization for the purpose of receiving marketing communications. If the donor has not agreed, the column will show the word "No."

It is important to note that a thank-you email is not classified as a marketing email, allowing you to send such emails to all your donors.
