How can a donation be transferred from one campaign to another?

In short - click on the 'Move' button next to the desired donation on the 'Donations' page

Did the contributor mistakenly contribute to the wrong campaign or ambassador? Do not worry! You (the charity) can transfer the donation to the correct campaign with a few simple clicks.

Follow these steps to transfer a donation to the correct campaign or ambassador if it was mistakenly contributed to the wrong one:

1. After logging into your charity account, click on the 'Donations' tab on the left side of the screen. You can find the desired donation using the search fields available on this page.
   

2. In the desired donation row, clickand select 'Move'
   
   
   

3. In the window that opens, enter the name of the campaign to which the donation should be transferred and then click 'Save'.
   
   
   

   Key Highlights:

   1. Limitation on External Donations:

      • Please note that donations made outside the platform, such as on personal donation pages or Collect page, cannot be transferred using this process.

   2. Intra-Charity Transfer Only:

      • The donation transfer feature is designed to facilitate transfers only within the same charity. It is not possible to transfer donations between different charities.
