How can a donation be transferred from one campaign to another?

Contributor mistakenly contributed to the wrong campaign or ambassador? do not worry! You (the charity) have the option to transfer the donation to the correct campaign with a few simple clicks.

follow these steps to transfer a donation to the correct campaign or ambassador if it was mistakenly contributed to the wrong one:

1. Access the charity area by clicking on "My Account" > "(charity name)."
   

2. Navigate to the "Donations" tab on the left side of the screen.
   

3. Locate the donation you wish to transfer in the table on the page, using the search engine if necessary. Click on the 'Move' button located on the right side of the table.
   

4. A new window titled "Move Donation" will appear. Find and select the appropriate campaign or ambassador to associate the donation with.
   

5. After making your selection, click "Save," and the donation will be transferred to the chosen campaign or ambassador within a few minutes.
   
   

   Key Highlights:

   1. Limitation on External Donations:

      • Please note that donations made outside the platform, such as on personal donation pages or Collect page, cannot be transferred using this process.

   2. Intra-Charity Transfer Only:

      • The donation transfer feature is designed to facilitate transfers only within the same charity. It is not possible to transfer donations between different charities.
