How can I receive donations in Canadian dollars?

IMPORTANT:
1) To find out if you are eligible to receive funds through Mizrachi Canada, you need to contact them, via the email provided in this guide, to conduct a preliminary inquiry, and inform us if you qualify.
2) Please note that to actually receive the funds, you will be required to have all the necessary paperwork to comply with Canadian Charity Guidelines before the transfer.

To receive donations from Canada we work with the organization called Mizrahi Canada Foundation. Through this body, Canadian donations made in Canadian dollars are transferred to Israel.

The transfer of the funds by Mizrahi will only be carried out when a significant amount (minimum of 500 Canadian dollars) is accumulated. As soon as the minimum is reached, Mizrahi will contact your organization to fill out the relevant documents necessary for the transfer.

In special cases, for example, if you are anticipating a large donation, you can contact Mizrahi directly to find out the relevant details. Please reach out to their technical support team at donations@mizrachi.ca. In such a case, it is recommended that you also write to our technical support team (support@jgive.com), so that we can follow up on the donation process.

Mizrachi can accept donations for educational and social welfare purposes in Israel. However, Mizrachi cannot accept donations for:

  • Donations for military purposes
  • Contributions to political causes

While we stand firmly with Israel and support its needs, our commitment to comply with CRA regulations remains paramount. This compliance ensures that all donations are used appropriately and within legal boundaries, preserving our ability to continue providing support.

If you have any questions or need clarification, please contact us before publicizing any campaigns. This will help prevent any unpleasant situations and ensure that all donations are properly managed.

If you encounter any problems with Mizrahi, kindly reach out to us as support@jgive.com
